I've just unveiled a new website design. Due to the various abilities of various browsers, there are still some kinks to be worked out. But, I felt like it was working well enough to go ahead and roll it out.
In addition to the new design, there are some other new elements to my web page. First I have all new headshots, taken by the talented Clinton Brandhagen. Over the past three years, he has quickly become the guy to see in the DC/Baltimore region. And for good reason; he is quite adept at capturing individual personality. I've always enjoyed drooling over his portfolio, and am happy to finally have shots of my own. Check his work out at http://www.clintonbphotography.com/.
The second new element is this blog. I had two major life changes in the last year. First of all, I stopped working a day job at the end of September 2009. My income is now entirely performance-related. Second, my career focus has shifted. After attending the Shakespeare Association of America's annual conference in April, I realized that I didn't want to be an actor. Well, not just an actor. What I want to be is an actor/scholar, which, near as I can tell, is a profession that doesn't actually exist. So this blog will help me document my journey through not one, but two impossible careers.
I will write in more detail about those experiences later. For now, enjoy the new design!
